Incident Overview
On Monday, a gas cylinder explosion occurred in a house located in the Wazirpur industrial area of Delhi, resulting in a fire. Authorities reported that a woman sustained injuries due to the incident.
The fire quickly spread to nearby slum areas, but firefighters managed to control it shortly after.
According to the Delhi Fire Service, they received reports of the fire at approximately 7:54 AM. A firefighting vehicle was dispatched to the scene to tackle the blaze.
By 8:40 AM, the fire was successfully extinguished. A fire department official confirmed that the injured woman received immediate medical attention. An extensive investigation into the incident is currently underway.
